Application Process

Upload your CV and cover letter

The first step to apply for the educational programme is to send us your CV and motivational letter. It is important that you write these documents in good English, otherwise it will be difficult to be selected for the intake conversation.

Intake conversation

When we approve your CV and cover letter, you will be invited to have an intake conversation. We will organise a Skype meeting, where you can further introduce yourself, your skills and motivation and your aspirations in the football business.

VUB enrolment

When the intake conversation has been successful, we accept you to the educational programme of IFBI. To become an official IFBI student, you will have to register to Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
After successfully completing the entire programme, the participants will receive a Executive Master certificate in Football Business from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Payment

The Institute offers business education on Champions League level. The current tuition fee for the Executive Master course and class, graduating in 2017, is €40,000. This fee is billed after acceptance and registration, two to three months before the programme, and must be settled before the programme begins.

Visa application

If you are a citizen from a non-European Union country, you may need a visa to enter Belgian territory. For questions regarding visa and related matters, you should contact the Belgian embassy or Belgian consulate in your country or a neighbouring country.

All the information concerning visa applications for Belgium is available on the website of the Foreigners Department of the FPS Home Affairs, which is the competent Belgian authority for access to the territory, stay, residence and removal of foreigners in Belgium. Once you have arrived in Belgium, details of your country's embassy or consulate may also be useful.
