The first month of the new year is already over and IFBI had an interesting start of 2017. After a well deserved vacation at the end of a busy first trimester, with a first exam period in December, we travelled to Lyon from 16 to 18 January for the ESSMA Summit in Stadium Development at the brand new Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
In the video you could already hear some brief reactions from our participants about their attendance at the ESSMA Summit. We also made a video with more enhanced reactions from them.
In the same week we also got an invitation from our partner ING to follow the international friendly between Belgium and the Netherlands in the Amsterdam ArenA.
This year we also started with a new item to give an insight about what topics are given at IFBI. It is called “The Cross from Jos”. In this item, our founder Jos Verschueren has a conversation with one of the lecturers from the topic at that week.
For the last “The Cross from Jos” we had the honour to welcome Mr Brian Goldstein, guest lecturer at IFBI in the topic Marketing and Sponsorship. Mr Goldstein is the former Global Head of Brand Marketing at McDonald’s for the FIFA World Cup and Jos talked with him about various things in football marketing.
We would also like to announce that we are travelling to Barcelona on Saturday 4 February for a new exiting Experience Tour until Tuesday 7 February.
