We don’t exaggerate when saying that we had a spectacular beginning of November with the second Experience Tour of the year to Switzerland. A three-day-trip took us to the Geneva Stadium, EPFL, UEFA, the Olympic Museum, the FIFA World Football Museum and FIFA.
After the trip to Switzerland we went back to Belgium to our familiar home ground in the University Foundation for some Football Finance Management. On Tuesday, 8 November, we welcomed Richard Battle and Christopher Winn from Deloitte to explain us everything about the Football Money League.
After the course we had a little chat with Mr Battle and he was very enthusiastic about the level of our students.
In the same week we also got an invitation from our partner ING to follow the international friendly between Belgium and the Netherlands in the Amsterdam ArenA.
A month before, as you could see in our previous newsletter, the participants of IFBI already went to the Amsterdam ArenA in October with the 3-2 win from Ajax in the competition game against Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.
This game we unfortunately got to see a little bit less goals than in October, but it was still a nice experience to see some of the best football players in the world live in action.
A big part of the courses in November handled about Law & Legislation. From November 14 until November 25 we received Prof dr Stefaan Van den Bogaert en Prof dr Ben Van Rompuy from Leiden University, amongst others.
With Mr Matthijs Withagen we also received someone from FIFA to talk us about the regulations and the importance from Law & Legislation in football.
