It is already more than one month ago that we had our official opening and a first week of courses at the end of September. In October we started an exciting month with the ING Experience Tour.
The second week of October started with a bang. On Monday morning, 10 October 2016, we welcomed Mr. Alexander Koch, Corporate Communication Manager at FIFA. He talked our students for about three hours on several things in the football industry.
Besides FIFA, we also received lectures from the European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL), the European Club Association (ECA), the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro), the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
In another video, Mr. David Frommer from ECA, tells about the relation between the several football associations and how they try to build a continued engagement and constructive relationship between all these sides.
In Football Economics, our students learned to analyse the important figures and concepts, understood the different situations that create an economic impact and analysed current economic situations in football clubs, analyse fees and clauses of transfers of players and trainers.
With Football Finance Management, we had the honour to welcome the first female teacher at IFBI with Mrs. Valérie Kinon. She taught the students to read and understand a balance sheet, and to take a look at the financial statements of football federations, associations and clubs.
