Course Content

The introduction to Financial Management in the Football Industry begins with analysing and clarifying a number of central concepts from the subject area. Initial focus is on the basics of financial management in football and on specific financial football terms. Subsequently, we look at important figures and discuss all parts on the balance sheet. Following definition of the key concepts we take a look at the financial statements of football federations, -associations and clubs. Then we discuss some financial situations of football clubs and the ideal model. We will review the major financial transfers and how clubs draw up their budgets.
